Website Terms of Use

These website terms of use (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms of Use”) shall govern the access to and navigation on the website (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”) by the Internet user (hereinafter referred to as the “User”).

The publisher of the Site is the foundation Fonds de dotation Ellipse Art Projects located 305 avenue Le Jour Se Lève, 92100 Boulogne-Billancourt (hereinafter the “Company”).

The information relating to the use of cookies on the Website, on the one hand, and to the personal data processing implemented within the scope of use of the website, on the other, is set out respectively as part of the Policy on Use of Cookies see section 3 hereafter) and of the Policy on Personal Data Processing see section 4.).

Article 1 – Acceptance

The use of the website by the User implies recognition of having perfect knowledge of the Terms of Use, acceptance thereof and undertaking to comply therewith.

Article 2 – Purpose of the Website

The website allows the Company to communicate on its activities and current affairs. The Website has neither the object nor the effect of offering personalized services to the User.

Article 3 – Use of the Website

The Website shall be used solely for personal purposes. The User undertakes not to use the Website and the information or data contained therein for commercial, political, advertising purposes or in the context of commercial solicitation, in any form whatsoever, notably by sending unsolicited e-mails.

The use of any types of automatic devices, programs, algorithms or methodologies in order to access, acquire, copy or monitor all or part of the Website is strictly forbidden.

Article 4 – Website Management

In order to ensure proper management of the Website, the Company may at any time:

suspend, interrupt or limit access to whole or part of the Website, reserve the access to the Website, or to some parts of the Website, for a specific group of Users;

remove any information which may disrupt the functioning of the Website or constitute a violation of national or international laws;

suspend Website access for the purpose of carrying out updates.

Article 5 – Warning

Despite the considerable care taken in guaranteeing the quality and the reliability of the information published on the Website, the Company shall not be held liable for any errors or omissions contained in the said information or in the conclusions drawn by the User from the said information.

The Company may not be held liable in the case of operational breakdown, failure, difficulty or interruption of the functioning preventing access to the Website or to any of its functionalities.

The Company may not be held liable for any damage caused to the User, to any third parties and/or to User’s equipment by reason of the connection to and/or the use of the Website.

Article 6 – Intellectual Property

All the elements of the Website, of any kind whatsoever, whether in visual or sound form, including the underlying technology, and notably the trademarks, photographs, illustrations, images, logos, texts, videos are the property of the Company and of its partners/suppliers and are protected by French, European and International laws relating to the intellectual property.

Any reproduction, representation, use, dissemination, publication, in whole or in part, of the content of the Website, for any reason and on any medium whatsoever, is strictly forbidden and is liable to constitute an infringement, entailing the responsibility of the person who commits such acts.

Article 7 – Hypertext Links

Any creation of hypertext link, on a professional, lucrative, commercial or organizational basis, to the Website must be subject to prior written approval by the Company. Any unauthorized link must be removed upon simple request made by the Company.

The Company pays the greatest possible attention to the links established with external websites. However, the Company may not be held responsible for the contents/information published on the external websites.

Article 8 – Governing Law

The Website complies with the legislation and regulations in force in France. The Company may not be held liable in the event of non-compliance with the legislation of the country in which the Website is visited, it is the responsibility of the User to carry out verification in this regard.

Article 9 – Amendments

The Company reserves the right to unilaterally amend at any time the Terms of Use. In such a case, only the new version available on the Website shall apply.

Déposez votre candidature pour le Prix ellipse 2024

L’appel à candidatures est dédié aux artistes visuels 18/40 ans, résidant au Bénin ou béninois résidant sur le continent.

Les candidats doivent également être non représentés (en contrat) avec une galerie.

L’éligibilité de chaque candidat reste à l’appréciation de l’organisateur (voir détails dans le règlement ci-dessous).

Pour déposer votre candidature, il suffit de remplir ce formulaire en fournissant les informations obligatoires (*).

Les participants doivent également déposer un portfolio de leur travail (5 à 10 œuvres, template ci-dessous si besoin) ainsi qu’un projet d’exposition en lien avec la thématique 2024 (détaillée ci-dessous) qui fera l’objet de l’exposition du futur lauréat lors de la foire AKAA en octobre 2024 à Paris.

Apply for the Ellipse 2024 Prize

The call for applications is dedicated to visual artists aged 18/40, living in Benin or Beninese living on the continent.

Candidates must also be unrepresented (under contract) with a gallery.

The eligibility of each candidate remains at the discretion of the organizer (see details in the rules below).

To apply, simply fill in this form with the required information (*).

Participants must also submit a portfolio of their work (5 to 10 artworks, template below if required) as well as an exhibition project in line with the 2024 theme (detailed below), which will be the subject of the future winner’s exhibition at the AKAA fair in October 2024 in Paris.
