Khadim Bamba

Born in 1991 in Diourbel, Senegal, Khadim Gueye called Kh Bamba lives and works in Dakar.

Finalist artist of the ellipse Prize dedicated to Senegal

Khadim Bamba is multidisciplinary artist who graduated from the Beaux-Arts national school of Dakar, in sector communication visual-design.

Involved visual artist, he is member of the international artistic association “Jeunes Artistes d’Avenir (JAA – Young Artists of the Future).

Blending local beauty and richness

His practice combines the painting, weaving, textile collage and different materials evoking the cultural mix and leading to the creation of a concept he calls “Mix-Tissage”.

He has participated in major art events such as the Dak’Art Biennial, the Segou’Art Festival, the National Art Show in Dakar and the International Shrub Art Show where he received the special prize in 2017. His work is exhibited in Senegal, Burkina Faso, France, Mali, Benin, Spain and Holland.

Ce dernier, inspiré de la thématique « Effet Papillon », doit comprendre une explication générale du projet et une liste prévisionnelle des œuvres envisagées à exposer lors du solo-show à Paris pour le lauréat.

      Artists are invited to refer to the rules and the documents below to complete the various sections of the application form, including a portfolio and an exhibition proposal. The proposal, inspired by the theme “Butterfly Effect”, must include a general explanation of the project and a preliminary list of the works planned for display during the solo show in Paris for the winner.
