From an early age, Koffi Seble was immersed in Voodoo culture, and immersed himself in it. After training in video production, the artist quickly turned to photography as his preferred medium.
A blurred vision of mystery and transcendence
His artistic practice tends both to immortalize the beauty of initiation rites, leading to the elevation of soul and spirit, and to glorify Togolese culture in general.
Koffi Seble’s series, which sometimes include disturbing superimpositions and transparencies, immortalize these moments of communion with the invisible and the sacred.
