Through her artworks, the artist is particularly interested in variations in sound perception depending on the listener’s surrounding context. Indeed, listening is triggered by a single stimulus, which in turn depends on auditory memory and the environment.

True auditive exploration process, Mira Rizki’s works invite the spectator to analyze more his sound environment by voluntary reducing every senses that can annihilate the experience. Furthermore, this original perspective is a way for the artist to lead each individual to be conscious of their own presence in the world.

New media to denounce information overload

Through her work, Mira Rizki raises public awareness of the potential risks posed by the information overload her generation is confronted with today.

This experimental artistic practice also includes numerous social, cultural and historical references transcribed through soundscapes whose materialization offers a new approach to installation art. In this way, Mira Rizki hopes to encourage viewers to develop a critical attitude towards the society in which they live.
