Yessiow is a nomadic visual artist who travels the world painting murals to brighten up the daily lives of local communities. Having herself doubted her art for years, her practice aims to encourage women artists to share their talent and make their voices heard by as many people as possible.
Drawing inspiration from natural objects and bright colors to give her work a unique and vibrant character, her work is destined to become part of the everyday life of local communities.
The artist also advocates several humanist values through her work, such as listening with an open mind to better understand others and free ourselves from preconceived ideas in order to move towards a common humanity.
Yessiow draws her inspiration from vases found during excavations, on which legends and everyday scenes are depicted. An introvert by nature, she reinvests this ancient form to materialize her comfort zone, in which she encloses herself with the aim of rediscovering inner beauty.
