Bhinneka Tunggal Ika

Audya Amalia began her career in 2014 and trained at the Faculty of Art and Design, where she became familiar with sculpture, installation and textile art. Interested in history, spirituality and domestic life, Audya Amalia adopts a dialogic approach involving relational aesthetics to give form to these themes.

In several artworks, she explores Indonesian female history during the colonial period paying homage to women who lived in uncertainty and distress.

Original creations imbued with emotion

Furthermore, Audya Amalia reflects on the conflicts of our time, often triggered by greed and the desire for power. To avoid these destructive tendencies, a person must take the time to look within himself and cultivate a sense of compassion.

The young woman uses her creativity as a way to offer to the spectator a space to escape the chaos of modern life.

The work of Audya Amalia has been exhibited several times, including a solo show in 2019 at the Bandung Creative Hub, and was recognized at the sixth edition of the Bandung Contemporary Art Prize.
