This original exhibition illustrated a three-acts performance, achieved in August 2023 in Togo. In this project, the artist tackled the duty of remembrance, as well as dreams in the face of the various contemporary issues to which he has been committed for many years.
A real ritual procession, he materializes the spirituality of his gestures and movements using materials, colors and accessories that he stages in front of everyone, in highly symbolic public places such as the Grand Marché, the Wharf of Lomé and the Maison des Esclaves in Agbodrafo.
Ras Sankara produced several in-situ performances, taking up the subjects on display and inviting the Parisian public, in turn, to take part in the construction of a narrative in which we are all the common denominator.
Between solidarity and hope, the artist wishes to enter into communion and exchange with the public in the form of rituals, around current concerns such as the environmental cause.
